Loan Modification Resolutions or Not?
|

ATTN: Anyone doing business or that has done business with Reliant Legal Network under the law firm of Kramer & Kaslow, Esq, I would like to hear from you to personally share your experience and opinion of this service. Were they able to get your lender to modify your home loan through their services? Did you receive a refund when they didn't? Would you recommend Reliant Legal Network or Kramer & Kaslow as a legitimate loan modification firm? Etc.

I learned the hard way after being scammed out of $3000 from National Relief Group/USLMP. It is always best to try to work directly with your montage company. And it wont cost you a dime.

To DTS, I have been trying to workout a Loan Mod for last 18 mos directly with my lender and although there is NO cost, the banks are NOT anxious to help anyone. I have also contacted HUD housing counselors who are there to ASSIST and ADVISE but DO NOT negotiate in any way with the lenders. They simply guide people on what options they have, but do not guarantee results. After almost 2 yrs of getting nowhere with my lender, they recently gave me a modification which resulted in an increase in my monthly payments by almost $900 more per month!! It's absurd, talk about getting scammed - if the banks are doing it and misleading consumers, who can we trust these days? Not only can I not afford this (so called) modification, now I need to contact an attorney to save me from forclosure.
