The contract I offered to the gentlemen was to him as an individual. All documents were properly prepared. At first the court rejected them because the property invloved was bought by a corperation. I then edited the summons and complaint to relect the change. The case was then accepted by the court and proceeded to the final motion. Under California law, corprations must be represented by an attorney. I am an unlawful detainer assistant, and as such can not represent someone in court. My web site explains this and referrs to the State laws governing unlawful detainers. The client received exactly what he contracted for. I then filed a final document with the court to substitute myself for his attorney, who then submitted the default form under his signature. I offered to adjudicate his claim, but rather he is resorting to this sad use of hiding behind the internet rather than facing me in court, where I would be glad to present my side of this case. His complaint is without merit, I have performed these services for many years, and this is my only complaint.
