Lifesaver for my computer keyboard - saved me from hours of work taking apart my computer.

So, a couple of weeks ago I made the mistake of leaving my computer for a few minutes without shutting the lid. One of our cats (Mama) decided that would be an opportune time to use my keyboard as a scratching post.
I needed to replace two keys, so initially I went to ebay and searched for anyone selling only keys, and could not find any listings that matched what I was looking for. I ended up buying an entire new keyboard to replace mine. When I received my new keyboard, I began the process of trying to remove the old one and install the new one. I thought this would be a simple process. Wow...was I wrong.
After finally locating the service manual online for my computer, I realized that I would need to remove literally every component of the computer to replace the keyboard. After saying "you've got to be kidding me" about 20 times, I decided against that. I stumbled onto laptopkey.com while researching on youtube. I went to their website and tried to figure out what keys I would need for my computer, and then realized there were quite a few different types of keys that went out with different variations of my model computer. So, I contacted their customer support and sent them pictures of the keys and hinges that I needed to replace, along with a picture of my keyboard. They promptly got back to me and told me which keys I needed to order, which were very affordable I might add.
I received my new keys today, which were shipped promptly and received very quickly, and I installed them in literally seconds. It was so easy. I wish I had found them sooner. I'm a very satisfied customer, and grateful for their help. If you spend a lot of time on a computer, being without any of the keys on the keyboard makes life very difficult.
Laptopkey.com makes it easy to replace any keys for your keyboard. I realize that I could have probably removed the keys I needed from my new keyboard that I ordered, but I didn't want to do that and risk breaking them.
