DO NOT RECOMMEND
We had flooding in our house. The plumber misdiagnosed the problem, saying it was not a plumbing problem, so he did not fix anything. But still he charged $160 for the diagnosis. He told us to do some other things outside our house to manage what he saw to be the problem. Two days later another plumber came up and said absolutely it was a plumbing problem, and found the source. BUT, he didn't charge for coming out to give the diagnosis. He said he'd only charge if they fixed it. We've had a lot of work done on our house lately, and no one but this company charged us upfront for estimates or diagnoses. They all said they wouldn't feel right doing that. In addition, the stuff he suggested we do outside cost damage that will require someone to come up and fix it for about $150. When I called Abalone to discuss these charges, he hung up on me as soon as I said it was the wrong diagnosis. I tried back, but he answered and hung up on me. Terribly unprofessional, and I feel ripped off.
