I was in conversations with a man named Christian who simply said that he had an offer from my mortgage company already for about 1/2 what my present monthly payment is. Unfortunately, it was completely false. My mortgage company never even heard of this company. Christian made it clear that I needed to pay $2300 upfront and all would be done in 45 days.
However, when I asked good questions, he got very upset and would never answer them -would never return e-mails (probably because that would be in writing?). Los Angeles has no record of the company having any pertinent licensing either. He became very upset that I just didn't forward him the money -felt he did not need to answer any questions and became a real jerk.
