Review 5/21/2011

Ordered brake pads and rotors in March of 2009 for my 2002 Suzuki Ario, the run around I am reading about it was for over 6 weeks waiting and calling and listening to bull crap, but they did charge my card right a way!! Same bull...out of stock and also needs to be manufactured...I was about to cancel the order at the start of the sixth week (I NEEDED BRAKES..NOW!) and they arrived. Had them put in and all was well in Mudville...until this weekend (5/21/11) ....remember there is a life time warranty with the brakes. I brought my car in for an oil change and it's yearly NY state inspection, rotors are no good and the pads are almost nonexistent, I am not a hot rod driver, so that should not be an issue. I tell Firestone (who is doing the inspection, oil change, etc) to wait I have a warranty on the brakes and rotors, and I attempt to call Brake Planet...and the 888 number is no longer working and the CAL area code numbers are also not working (went to another company) ...life time warranty is no good if the company is no longer there! So I have new brakes and pads from Firestone, and a place to take my car to if there is a problem. NEVER again...BRAKE PLANET is out in space...and NO GOOD!!!!!!!!!
***could not leave no stars...so there is one...but really the company should receive NONE.********
