Watch out for "Bonus Offers", they don't honor them, they just claim they've run out. Our order was placed on Dec 1, and we went for the $399 package because their site stated "BONUS OFFER - Spend $399 or more on select Calphalon cookware* and receive a Bonus Unison Nonstick 5-qt. Dutch Oven Set; a $149 value! Offer valid through December 31, 2010 or while supplies last. There is no indication of whether the "supplies" are exhausted or not, but since it was 12/1 and the offer ran through 12/31, we thought, how could they possibly be out of stock.
Our order arrived on 12/7 without the bonus item. When I called Customer Service, they informed me that because they stated "while supplies last", they were not obliged to honor the offer. We saw the offer on 12/1, as of 12/9, their site still shows the offer so I can only conclude that they are using it as bait to get people to spend $399 and have no intention of ever honoring it. This is misleading advertising, they should have removed the offer as soon as the limited supplies were exhausted, instead they just leave it there. For all we know, they ran out of stock in October.
On a positive note, their customer service department answered the phone after only a brief hold and the rep was very polite and helpful. He even offered me a $25 coupon to make up for the $149 Dutch Oven. In addition, shipping was quick and reasonably priced.
Unfortunately, since they can't be trusted on special offers, I will probably never buy from them again.
