When all was said and done I was able to go from a 5.25% interest rate to a 2.65 with no point and not a single dollar out of my pocket. I'll have saved well over nearly 90k just with the number of years I cut off the loan with the refinance, not to mention the money I’ll save in interest over the remaining life of the loan.
