As is stated in the below review, Galles seems to have a short memory when it comes to their own ads/mailers/promises. I have twice been misled about the extent and/or legitimacy of their own offers only to have them reneg once I'm in the door.
In my most recent experience with them I most definitely would have purchased a vehicle from them if their offer of "guaranteed %55 of original MSRP...trade keys...no cash changing hands" had been honored. The fine print notes that they will deduct for "Excessive wear and tear...") which kind of negates the word 'guarantee'. My vehicle is quite nice, I think, I was offered far less than they had told me over the phone and even in person.
The stereotype of over anxious car salespeople is not new to anyone, but is (in my experience) reinforced quite well at Galles Chevrolet. In the future I will be contacting any number of GM dealers before Galles.
