I put a $1k refundable deposit down on a car. After a week of haggling on the price of the new car and trade-in and them not locating the car I wanted I decided to cancel the negotiations and get a refund of my deposit. 1st they tried to convince me to buy the car. then they told me they would process the refund on monday which was the next business day. I went to pick up the refund receipt on monday and was told they can only process refunds during business hours. On Tuesday they said they were processing the refund. Thursday they said they would not give a refund but will give a store credit. I never signed a contract or any document binding me to make a purchase nor did I sign anything stating the deposit was non-refundable. Don't do business with this dealership. They're not honest and they also charge a $899 dealer fee on top of the car itself. This is all pure profit regardless of whatever price you pay for the car. go up north to palm beach county and buy from toyota dealers that don't charge a dealers fee
