They called and said will reduce phone from $17.99 to $5.00 based on my small use of long distance with AT&T. I said I have Cox bundle and they said AT&T is the long lines for all in area so AT&T provides the info. The lady kept talking and saying more & more while getting a verifier to take order saying answer "yes" "no". She gave me their phone number which is only a fax number. BBB gives the correct one 877-851-7325 but sales gave same ending in 7321. Also PEAK's own website gives phone # as 877-851-7321. All week I was getting calls that had no caller. Finally when I waited on the line to see if somebody spoke it was PEAK. This "service" will ruin my COX bundle which I now see is only 12 cents a month!!! I hate this. I am disabled. I have a small income. IS THAT HOW PEAK GOT MY NUMBER AND IS THAT WHY I AM UNLUCKY ENOUGH TO BE PREYED UPON BY THESE VULTURES? I have called to tell them not to charge me and not to start anything. The sales lady DID say PEAK will pay any fees for changing my servie to theirs. I don't want any service from them or any fees incurred now that I know this is a SCAM. I signed up for "don't call" regarding phone sales a few years ago and those stopped. How did PEAK Communications get past that? I hate this kind of waste of time and money and the stress it causes me. Please keep me informed.
