DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! I can't describe my experience with Mr. Andy Manning and his "company" Sunset Roofing more succinctly. Manning was nice enough when providing an estimate for roofing work on my home. However, he only did half of the work promised for the agreed upon amount. He tried to hold me up for additonal money. (That, right after looking at the work done by his employees and mentioning they didn't use the right materials!) He threatened to put a lien on my house, made over thirty-five harrassing phone calls to my home and work, and had some Bozo show up at my door late one evening to "collect." I finally paid this jerk to get rid of him. Check out his history and you'll find his company has gone bankrupt twice! He has all sorts of litigation. Two weeks ago I received a letter from the IRS informing me they had a tax lien on HIM! They wanted any money I may still owe him. I had already paid him off to end this headache, but I suggest you don't get invovled. I consider the entire affair MY FAULT for not checking into him. I have since learned he did the same bait and switch, followed by threats over payment, to a neighbor three houses down a few weeks before he started my job. If I had done my due diligence, I wouldn't have had the trouble. You have been warned.
