VIP Package? Not So
|
Okay, so I read the comments below from years ago and maybe VIP Nation has made some positive changes and maybe there are more satisfied customers than non-satisfied. The comments below are my opinions only and are not meant to bash VIP Nation just to educate future customers.
I purchased 2 tickets to Bad Co / Joe Walsh at a Cleveland Ohio venue and ordered the "VIP Silver Package". The description sounded like an awesome package with excellent seats. Each ticket cost me $250.00 and I felt it would be worth it. The description stated each VIP ticket would receive the following:
A commemorative VIP Laminate (got it and it was nice); A limited addition Bad Co tour gift (A black cloth bag with the Bad CO logo on it. Very cheap and worthless); A Bad Co key chain. Made in China and probably worth a whopping $2.00); A Bad Co guitar pick set (got it, kind of cheesy); A commemorative VIP concert ticket (nothing special at all, just a paper ticket).
I guess when I spend over $500.00 for two tickets I would expect something special. Something worth saving or displaying on a wall to say this was an awesome time and I was there. Didn't happen for me. We had good seats, not great seats, just good seats. Found out that 4 rows up from where we were sitting the seats were $80.00 each and pretty much the same exact view of the stage and performers that we had. So that means I spent an additional $340.00 for some cheesy non-collectible gifts. I guess we all live and learn.
One positive note - Both bands were awesome but Joe Walsh knocked it out of the park. What a phenom on the guitar!!!
Hope this helps future VIP Nation customers to evaluate what they are getting for their money. It may not be what you are expecting.
